What are the three things you never travel without?
My camera, laptop and a good book!

What has been your most eye-opening travel experience?
Definitely my 10 month Central & South American trip with my partner a few years back.

What is it that you love about travelling? Have you noticed a change within yourself or do you see the world differently since you've been exploring it?
I moved abroad at a young age which I think lit the travel spark in me. Travel definitely helps me to be more open minded, compassionate and eager to learn.

Was there a particular catalyst that pushed you towards a life of wandering, or have you always had itchy feet?
I moved to Papua New Guinea and Fiji at a young age with my family which definitely gave my itchy feet however I am also very curious by nature. I am always eager to know and learn and get bored being in the one spot for too long.

What's your favourite place you've ever travelled, and why?
This question is always so hard to answer because each place is so different and has its own set of pro's and con's, however I will say the Galapagos Islands in Ecuador because I have never been anywhere like it. It is so isolated and a lot of the wildlife can't be found anywhere else. The marine life is like nothing I have seen before - incred!

Best piece of advice you would give to another traveller?
Do a bit of research on the location you are visiting prior to going ie. the culture, how to get around, currency, hotels/hostels etc. Try not to have too much of a plan because a lot of the time, especially in lower economic countries, things don't always go to plan. Be patient and try your best to go with the flow - it is part of the adventure :)

Where to next?
South East Asia!
